The Right to Clean Water Ballot Initiative will place an amendment to the State Constitution providing Florida Citizens a right to clean and healthy waters.   

We understand, Martin County like St. Lucie County, has many water related concerns including harmful algal bloom prevention, coastal erosion, pernicious amount of seagrass losses, and the protection of the waters for both recreational ( swimming, boating, fishing) and drinking water protection. We are seeking your participation through petition gathering of signatures in ensuring that this initiative is able to be placed as an amendment to our State Constitution.  Since we are seeking to make more visible the League's presence in both our county and throughout Florida, we are reaching out to partner with your League and other civil society organizations for this well attended festival in your county.
