Very Important

Has your signature changed?  When you vote by mail, your signature on the outside of the ballot certificate envelope needs to match the signature that is on file with the Elections office.

A signature change can only be accomplished by completing a Voter Registration Application OR online at https://registertovoteflorida.gov/

You may want to consider taking a photo of your signature for future reference.

New Laws

Due to a recently enacted law in Florida, there are now limits on the number of ballots that a volunteer can return for voters that are not family members. A violation of this law is now a felony.

Any single person can only deliver up to 2 ballots per election from non-family members. In this regard, the state of Florida defines the term “immediate family” means a person’s spouse or parent, child, grandparent, grandchild, or sibling of the person or the person’s spouse.
